Fluoro-comp+
Fluoro-comp+ is a non-metallic reinforced PTFE hose for applications which require extreme temperature capabilities and extreme burn-through-resistance in combination with pre-formability and flexibility.
Fluoro-comp+ has a double layer of reinforcement consisting 90% fiber glass with 10% aramid fiber. This double layer of braid, provides enhanced thermal insulation and improved burn-through-resistance compared to our standard Fluorocomp-product. It also provides improved robustness, abrasion resistance and cut resistance while maintaining same preform-radius and routing-capability.
Fluoro-comp+:
- has an operating temperature window of -40 to 260 °C.
- has a market-leading thermal insulation and flame resistance: providing best in class safety for under-hood fuel, oil and coolant hose.
- It has 60 minutes burn-through time when tested against DIN 73379-3 (flame-temperature of 800 °C).
- has extremely low levels of hydrocarbon permeation.
- is pre-formable for optimized packaging and routing.
- has crimped joints for robust designs, can also be crimped directly to metal pipe.
- has high pressure and impulse capabilities: recommended for applications up to 70 bar working-pressures.
Applications
Fluoro-comp+ is the ultimate solution for industrial and automotive applications that require best-in-class safety and superior flame-through-resistance under demanding conditions. Hose dimensions can be modified to suite customer requirements, but the above properties may change.
